Shane O’Bryan is a Louisville, KY born information and technology specialist currently working for one of the largest companies in the world, and deals predominantly with the Apple ecosystem. While Macs and iOS devices are his forté, he does occasionally dabble in the dark arts, working with Windows XP-8 and Windows Phone 7-8, as well as various Linux platforms, and is a recovering Google addict.
His core focus is on customer interactions, developing and repairing relationships with consumers. He has been a professional in the field since 2007, after leaving behind a career as a musician/recording engineer. Given his creative experience, Shane pays an inordinate amount of attention to aesthetics and usability when referring clients to solutions, hence Apple.
While he no longer records or performs on a professional basis, occasionally music will be posted to this site under a Creative Commons license. Please read the conditions before using any of the work elsewhere, or contact him to receive permission to do whatever you like, within reason.
Aside from technology and music, other interests of Mr. O’Bryan include, but are not limited to: a developing of coffee, beer, and cheese connoisseurship; the outdoors, literature, and visual arts. Philosophically/religiously speaking, he is a student of stoicism and does not subscribe to any beliefs in a higher power, period. Politically, he is a far-left leaning libertarian as determined by The Political Compass.
On a side note, Shane really hates writing bios like this. He has done such in the effort of placating ravenous corporate headhunter types who might have wandered over here from his LinkedIn profile, which he loathes and will not link to. While on the topic of corporatism, he has an acute sensitivity to industrial bullshit and would prefer purveyors of such to stay away.
Thanks, The Management.
